Baba's Obedient Child
Noor Ud Din, is starting to understand trends and patterns. e.g. when I come home and open my computer, he would run into the room, with the charger and try to plug it in for me. And then he would open the drawer and take the mouse out and try to plug that in. If in case the charger is fixed on Maryam's computer, he would take it out from her computer and put it in my computer :)
Also he seems to believe in his Dada's golden rule 'Put every thing back in its place and you will never lose it', a bit too much. So much so, that he often puts my slippers back in the cupboard, even when on my bed :) But he would remember where he has put it though :)

Walking Noor Ud Din
But I knew he would do so in his own time and as per his own wishes. Just a day before I took his hand and made him walk and turn in our big lounge, just to give him confidence that he can do it if he wants to.
And right next day after coming home from office, I got the good news that he has been walking all day! And that too without anyone requesting him.
I got to see his Zombie walk as well :) since he walks with both his hands hanging in front of him like zombies, helping him to balance. Once he was about to fall but he took care of himself and balanced himself out of trouble.
It felt so good, watching Noor Ud Din walk, even now if I think about it, it feels just like him i.e. Thando :)

Mama Ordering From Grocery Store
Mama ordering from the grocery store downstairs in arabic, english and urdu...
Crawling Under the Bed
In order to protect some of our gadgets from Noor Ud din, we keep it in my side table. So when Noor Ud Din is moving freely, we protect that side of the room by closing the area by putting his cot and chest of drawers. The strategy though successful initially didn't last long, since Noor Ud Din the 'crawler' found another way.
